According to the police, late Sunday night around 11:30, information was received that a man had shot his wife and relatives in Yadav Market, Shakurpur village. On being taken to the hospital, two men and a woman were declared dead, while a woman was admitted in an injured condition.
The deceased were identified as Surendra alias Sonu, Vijay and Seema. Seema was the sister of the above two. The injured woman was identified as Babita. Babita is the wife of Vijay. Seema’s mother Chandrakala told the police that Seema was married to Hitendra alias Raju in the year 2001. After marriage, there was a rift between Hitendra and Seema. There was domestic strife. Many times a reconciliation agreement was made between the two. On March 6, there was a fight between Seema and her husband, after which Seema called both her brothers and informed about it.
Hitendra’s friend also came there for a settlement
Seema’s mother Chandrakala further told the police that both Seema’s brothers, me and her sister-in-law Babita along with some others reached Hitendra’s house. The purpose of reaching here was to make a compromise between the two, but at the same time Hitendra and his two sons started speaking. A friend of Hitendra, Lalit also came there for a settlement. Vijay and Surendra objected to the person outside. Both the sons of Hitendra and Seema, while speaking in the middle, justified the presence of Lalit. On this, Seema slapped one of her sons. A scuffle broke out on both sides. Chandrakala and Lalit started to intervene, only then Hitendra took out his revolver and opened fire with it, after which the whole matter happened.
Hitendra was arrested
North West District DCP Usha Rangnani says that Hitendra has been arrested. There was a dispute between Hitendra and his wife for a long time. There was a fight between the two on Sunday as well and when Seema’s brother reached her in-laws’ house, the quarrel escalated and in the same quarrel Hitendra carried out this triple murder.
