Akhilesh Yadav gave this statement after the allegations of EVM, Swami Prasad Maurya on target before counting of votes



Before the counting of votes for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election-2022, to be held on March 10, the Samajwadi Party has become an attacker on the BJP regarding EVMs. SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya tweeted a video on Tuesday, alleging that a large number of EVMs were caught in Varanasi’s Shivpur assembly seat. After this incident came to the fore, SP President Akhilesh Yadav has asked the party workers to be alert.

Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, ‘The news of EVM being caught in Varanasi is giving a message to every assembly of UP to be alert. All the candidates and supporters of SP-alliance should be ready with their cameras to thwart the attempt of rigging in the counting of votes. Youth became soldiers in counting of votes to protect democracy and future.

What allegation did Swami Prasad Maurya make?

Earlier, while tweeting a video, Swami Prasad Maurya alleged that the thief should go by theft, not by rigging. The Yogi government still wants to rob the mandate by manipulating the EVM machine. SP leaders are active about EVM

SP leaders are active about EVMs. A video of SP candidate Yogesh Verma from Meerut’s Hastinapur assembly seat surfaced, in which he was seen monitoring EVMs with binoculars.

Yogesh Verma said that EVMs have been kept here, we are seeing through binoculars that there is no activity of any kind here. We are keeping a close watch on the roof and the surrounding area with binoculars. Yogesh Verma further said that we have made 3 shifts of 8-8 hours for our workers, on the basis of which they are posted.
