Elections are going to be held for 13 seats of Rajya Sabha. For which notification is being issued today. Elections will be held on these 13 seats on March 31. Meanwhile, the tenure of eight members of Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Nagaland and Tripura ends on April 2, while five seats are falling vacant in Punjab. Actually the tenure of 5 members will be completed on 9 April.
On the other hand, losing the Punjab elections will result in loss of Rajya Sabha seats to the Congress, it is obvious. Let us tell you that the Congress, which has been reduced to 18 out of 77 seats in Punjab, will also suffer loss of Rajya Sabha seats. Overall, by the end of this year, the Congress is also in danger of losing the position of Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha. Because the total seats of Congress can go below 25.
