Punjab Election 2022: The results of the assembly elections of five states including Punjab are to be announced on March 10. Exit polls have been released on Monday evening before the result. On the basis of some exit polls and some candidates’ own assessment, political parties and their candidates in Punjab are ordering laddus before the results of the Punjab Assembly elections.
The leaders and workers of the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab are very excited about the exit poll results. In many ‘exit polls’, the BJP in UP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab have been predicted to get a clear majority on Monday. In some, there is a possibility of BJP getting an edge in Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.

BJP is getting majority in UP
According to exit polls by CNN News18, Times Now, Republic TV and NewsX channels, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) got between 326 and 211 in UP’s 403-member assembly, while the Samajwadi Party (BJP) got a margin of 211. The SP-led alliance is projected to get 160 to 71 seats.

AAP is expected to get majority in Punjab
At the same time, the ‘Exit Poll’ of Punjab has predicted the victory of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP. India Today’s ‘Exit Poll’ predicts that AAP will win 76-90 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly.
Some exit polls have also predicted a hung assembly in Punjab, the only electoral state where the Congress is in power, while the AAP is likely to get a clear lead. Anticipated a wave in the Lok Sabha and expressed the possibility of getting 100 seats, of which 10 seats may be more or less.
Aam Aadmi Party is in power in four out of five states
Chanakya’s exit poll has predicted 43 seats for BJP and 24 for Congress in Uttarakhand. Significantly, BJP is in power in four out of five states and counting of votes in all these states will be held on March 10.
