Bhagwant Mann took oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab on Wednesday. Mann has become the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP MP Sanjay Singh and many other party leaders were also present in his swearing-in ceremony. After taking oath of Mann, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wished him well. Let us inform that Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mann at the swearing-in ceremony held at Khatkar Kalan, the native village of great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar district of the state. Mann took oath in Punjabi language. Apart from the newly-elected MLAs of AAP, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and other senior leaders attended the swearing-in ceremony wearing yellow turbans. AAP performed brilliantly in the Punjab Assembly elections, winning 92 out of 117 seats, leaving the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party alliance and the Congress far behind.
