Bhagwant Mann is going to become the Chief Minister of the state. Bhagwant Mann will take oath as the Chief Minister on 16 March i.e. Wednesday. All the preparations for this have almost been completed. Earlier, Bhagwant Mann has been elected as the leader in the legislative party meeting held in Mohali last evening. Now Bhagwant Mann will meet Governor Banwarilal Purohit at 10.30 am today and stake claim to form the government. Bhagwant Mann will take oath in Khatkarkalan, the village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

Before the swearing-in, Bhagwant Mann will go to the Shri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar on Sunday, March 13 to pay obeisance and then there will be a grand road show with Arvind Kejriwal. Bhagwant Mann had also invited Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia to take oath in Delhi on Thursday. When Bhagwant returned to Mohali after this meeting, he also gave Kejriwal’s message to his MLAs. He said that the governance model of Delhi has to be implemented in Punjab. The government of Aam Aadmi Party will run from among the common people.

On the other hand, preparations are also in full swing in Khatkarkalan, the village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in Nawanshahr for the swearing-in of the future Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann. With the swearing-in of Bhagwant in the village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party will try to hit two targets with one arrow. First to answer BJP’s nationalism and secondly to convey the image of being connected to common people across the country. Let us inform that in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party has won 92 seats out of 117. During this election, many big stalwarts of Congress, from Charanjit Singh Channi, had to face defeat in the elections. Even former Chief Ministers Captain Amarinder Singh and Parkash Singh Badal lost the election.
