Punjab CM Oath Ceremony: After the massive victory of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, now Bhagwant Mann will take oath as the Chief Minister on March 16. Earlier on March 13, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann would hold a roadshow in Amritsar. Mann is currently in Delhi and met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his residence today. AAP leader Raghav Chadha was also present on this occasion.
AAP has won 92 out of 117 assembly seats in the state. Mann has won from Dhuri seat by a huge margin of 58,206 votes. Talking to reporters in Sangrur before leaving for the national capital, Mann had said that he would meet Kejriwal to congratulate him on the party’s victory in the Punjab elections.
Mann said that the swearing-in ceremony will be held in Khatkar Kalan, the native village of great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Nawanshahr district. On the party’s resounding electoral victory, Mann said, “People defeated the arrogant people and they made the common people victorious.”
