Mumbai’s BKC Police has arrested a person for giving false news about the bomb blast in Mumbai University. The name of the arrested accused is Suraj Dharam Jadhav. Jadhav called the main control room of Mumbai Police at around 5 pm on Wednesday and said that within 10 minutes there is going to be a blast at Mumbai University.
The police would have asked something else that already the caller disconnected the phone. At the same time, after this phone call, Mumbai Police reached the spot and started investigation. Bomb squad team was also called but nothing was recovered after which it became clear that it was a hoax call. When the police traced that caller, information was received about Jadhav. Police arrested him from Santa Cruz area.
IED found in suspicious bag
Let me tell you, in the past, IED was found in a suspicious bag on the road in Old Seemapuri area of Delhi. Delhi Police reached the spot as soon as the suspicious bag was recovered on Thursday evening. Apart from this, the National Security Guard has also been informed about this incident. According to ANI, security was beefed up on the spot after the suspicious bag was found.
