BSP rejects UP exit polls



Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh are over and now the results are awaited. In most exit polls, the BJP government is seen to be formed. Meanwhile, the BSP has rejected the UP exit poll. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national spokesperson Sudheendra Bhadauria on Tuesday rubbished exit polls that predicted victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. He claimed that the BSP led by Mayawati would emerge victorious with a huge force. According to news agency ANI, Sudheendra Bhadauria told that the people of Uttar Pradesh have given their decision and votes are locked in EVMs. The way crowds gathered in BSP chief Mayawati’s rallies, we are confident that the party led by Mayawati will emerge as a big force in the state.

BSP rejects UP exit polls

After the end of the UP elections, the exit polls conducted by many organizations and news channels have predicted that the BJP will form the government again in the state, while the Samajwadi Party will remain at number two. BSP leader and spokesperson Sudheendra Bhadauria said that we do not trust opinion polls or exit polls. We only believe in the work done by party workers. To Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on his claim that his party will win 300 seats, the BSP leader said that initially he was saying that he would win 400 seats and now he is saying that he would win 300 seats. He said that he should wait for some time and the results will be in front of him.

Counting of votes on March 10

Significantly, the voting for 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh in 7 phases ended on March 7. Counting of votes will be done on March 10. After the exit poll data came out after the last phase of voting, the rhetoric among the political parties has intensified. In most exit polls, BJP seems to be forming the government with an absolute majority. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party has emerged as the second largest party in Uttar Pradesh in the exit polls.
