Punjab Election: The results of Punjab assembly elections are coming on 10 March. At the same time, before the results, today former Punjab Chief Minister and Punjab Lok Congress leader Captain (Amarinder Singh) has met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. This meeting took place at the residence of the Home Minister itself.
When the media persons questioned him on this meeting of Captain Amarinder, he replied saying, I have had a normal discussion with Amit Shah. There will be a detailed discussion after the results are out. He told that, he has had a general discussion on Punjab with Amit Shah, this meeting has nothing to do with the elections.

When the media questioned Amarinder on the status of the alliance, he said that I am not a Pandit. I am not a person who can predict. Amarinder further said that, my party has done well. BJP has also done well. Let’s see what happens.
Elections held for 117 seats
Elections were held for 117 seats of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. There Congress is fighting to save its power. In the 2017 elections, the Congress party won 77 out of 117 seats. Whereas the ruling Akali-BJP alliance could win only 18 seats. The Aam Aadmi Party got only 20 seats. This time the match of Punjab is quadrangular. The Congress is facing a formidable challenge from the alliance of Aam Aadmi Party, Shiromani Akali Dal and BSP and the alliance of Amarinder Singh’s Punjab Lok Congress and BJP.
