After an hour-long meeting with Yogi, Nadda had tweeted, “With his historic victory in the Uttar Pradesh elections, I congratulate him for re-forming the BJP government in the state.” He has taken the ideas of BJP to the last level of the society. Adityanath, who is preparing to take oath for a second consecutive term as chief minister, is believed to have discussed issues related to government formation during talks with the party leadership. Yogi Adityanath has reached Delhi after the defeat of several ministers including Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
Sources said Adityanath is likely to stay in the national capital for two days. The BJP has won 255 seats and two of its allies won 18 seats in the recently held elections to the 403-member state assembly. Political analysts believe that Adityanath’s stature has increased with this victory, as he was at the center of BJP’s efforts to re-conquer the state.
