According to information received from sources by ABP News, on Thursday morning, Rahul Gandhi met G-23 member Bhupinder Singh Hooda. According to sources, MP Deepender Hooda, son of Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who is considered close to the Gandhi family, was given the responsibility of persuading him to meet Rahul Gandhi, only after which Bhupinder Singh Hooda met Rahul Gandhi.

According to sources, apart from Hooda, another senior party leader is also playing a role in the mediation. According to sources, a proposal has been sent to the G-23 leaders through Hooda on behalf of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress leadership that they will be included in the party’s Central Election Committee and organizational change related committees. That the G-23 leaders should not make formal statements against the Congress leadership and the Gandhi family.

Sonia and Rahul may meet G-23 leaders

This proposal of Kapil Sibal and Bhupinder Singh Hooda was discussed at Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house late in the evening. After this, G-23 sources said that the proposal is not clear at the moment. Meanwhile, according to sources, there may be more meetings of G-23 leaders in the coming days to consider this proposal of Rahul Gandhi and Congress leadership.

If sources are to be believed, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi may also meet separately with the G-23 leaders regarding these proposals. However, no time has been fixed for Ghulam Nabi Azad’s meeting with Sonia Gandhi.
