In Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have fired on a CRPF jawan, carrying out another cowardly act. According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, terrorists opened fire on CRPF jawan Mukhtar Ahmed Dohi, a resident of Shopian. The jawan died on the way to the hospital.
According to the reports, the jawan on whom the terrorists fired, had come to his home on leave. This is the fourth case of terrorist attacks in the last three days. According to PTI, a police officer has told that the area has been cordoned off and a search operation has also been started to nab the attackers.
Prior to this terrorist incident, four terrorists, including a Pakistani commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), were killed and another arrested in three separate encounters with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. A police official said that the encounter took place in Pulwama, Ganderbal and Kupwara districts of the Kashmir Valley. He said that two Jaish-e-Mohammed (Jeem) terrorists and a Pakistani national were killed in an overnight encounter in Chewakalan area of Pulwama in South Kashmir.
Kashmir’s Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar tweeted, “Pakistan terrorist killed in Pulwama encounter has been identified as JeM Commander Kamal Bhai ‘Jatt’. He was active in the Pulwama-Shopian area since 2018 and was involved in several terror crimes and civil atrocities.
