The gaming industry has announced some of the best games for Xbox One coming out in 2022. Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights, Dragon Ball: The Breakers, Skull and Bones, and Soul Calibur V are among the games you will be seeing. Even better, there’s a new game coming out every month. It’s a great time to get an Xbox.
#1. Hogwarts Legacy
If you have been looking forward to a new game for the Xbox One, consider playing Hogwarts Legacy. Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is being developed with Unreal Engine and is available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The game uses the latest consoles to deliver a more immersive experience. It includes DualSense, haptic feedback, and feature lights corresponding to each house. Moreover, the game has options for fidelity and performance modes and a faster loading time. Still, to enjoy a high-end gaming experience, you will need a lag-free wifi connection like Spectrum Wi-Fi or any other plan from your nearest ISP.
The game’s new gameplay features a unique system of character customization. Rather than a generic default wizard, players can choose a character that suits them best. Players will no longer have to deal with an annoying default character. Depending on their skills and talents, the Sorting Hat will sort players to determine whether they are Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw.
#2. Gotham Knights
Originally slated to hit shelves in 2021, Gotham Knights has been delayed to 2022. It will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S. Gotham Knights will feature four playable heroes and a drop-in/drop-out co-op. This will make for an exciting co-op experience. The game’s rumored release date makes it look like a lot of fun, so keep an eye out for the game.
The game was previously slated to be a cross-generation title, but that has changed. Instead, it will launch on Xbox One Series and PS5 systems. Gotham Knights will only be released on these two platforms. Although this is disappointing news for fans of older consoles, it still represents a big step for the gaming industry.
In addition to the core game, the sequel will feature an RPG-style element. Players will explore Gotham City in a massive open world and simultaneously take on multiple characters. The game is available to pre-order digitally. The Deluxe Edition features the base game and the Visionary Pack DLC. It includes exclusive gear, cosmetics, and character skins modeled after the Beyond Suit style comic book storyline.
#3. Dragon Ball: The Breakers
Bandai Namco has revealed that Dragon Ball: The Breakers will come to Xbox One on October 14th, 2022. While the Xbox One version will be the first to play the new Dragon Ball game, the PlayStation 4 and PC versions will be released much later. The game will be available in digital and physical versions and have playable characters, including Frieza and Namek.
The game will feature a multiplayer mode and a similar structure to Dead by Daylight. Players will be normal people who have been sucked into a “Temporal Stream.” They can use weapons and pilotable vehicles to survive. The gameplay of Dragon Ball: The Breakers for Xbox one will be backward compatible with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XS.
#4. Saints Row
Deep Silver is bringing the beloved Saints Row series to life with a new game. Set in the fictional city of Santo Ileso, Saints Row will feature a variety of over-the-top chaos and action. The game is available for preorder, and new details about the story and gameplay are beginning to come out.
Saints Row is set to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 23, 2022. The game is available for pre-order and will be released in three editions – standard, special, and deluxe.
The game features intense, vehicle-based gameplay. It was inspired by films like Baby Driver and Hobbes & Shaw. You can even use your car as a weapon by side-swiping other vehicles. As the title suggests, Saints Row is a game about gangs, but you’ll be able to control more than one character at a time.
