Jammu-Kashmir News: There is news of one more terrorist being killed in an encounter with security forces in Ganderbal area of Jammu and Kashmir this morning. During this operation, a terrorist of the banned terrorist organization Lashkar was killed shortly before. At present, the police is running a search operation in the area.
Talking on this matter, the IGP of Kashmir says, ‘We started joint operation at 4-5 places last night. So far 2 terrorists of Jaish including 1 Pakistani have been killed in Pulwama, while 1 Lashkar terrorist has been killed in Ganderbal and Handwara, apart from this we have also arrested one terrorist. He said that the encounter operation in Handwara and Pulwama is over.

Four terrorists were arrested on Thursday
Security forces have arrested four Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in Baramulla and Pulwama districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The police gave this information on Tuesday. Acting on a tip-off, security forces started a search operation by cordoning off Nadihal area of Rafiabad, Sopore, a police spokesman said. He said that during the search, an associate of a terrorist of the banned organization Lashkar-e-Taiba was arrested.
Grenade attack happened on Sunday
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with Sunday’s grenade attack on the busy Amira Kadal bridge in the heart of Srinagar. Two civilians were killed and 36 others were injured in the attack.
