Hema Malini said – identification of classical artists in danger, sought financial help from the government



Hema Malini said, "India is one of the best in the world because of its culture and cultural heritage. Our art, culture and artists are its basis. Any country that has neglected its artists has only fallen. The art sector and artists are facing problems. As an artist, I am concerned for him."

he said, "The identity of our folk and classical artists and other artists is in danger. They are facing financial crisis due to the pandemic and are forced to leave their art and do odd jobs to earn a living. I demand from the government to arrange financial assistance and pension for these artists."

Mathura MP Hema Malini said, "In 2017 the Ministry of Culture launched the National Mission on Cultural Mapping Scheme to collect information on arts and artists. As per the latest information it has been closed due to lack of resources. I request the government to provide necessary resources to complete this scheme."
