[ad_1]
<p style="text-align: justify;"The Hijab case has reached the Supreme Court. Two girl students of Karnataka have filed a petition challenging the order of the High Court. Also, Hindu Sena leader Surjeet Yadav has also filed a caveat and demanded from the Supreme Court that it should not unilaterally order a stay on the High Court's decision.
<p style="text-align: justify;"A bench headed by Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court, Rituraj Awasthi, has ruled that wearing hijab by women is not a mandatory part of Islam. The High Court has also said that the state government's order to ensure complete compliance of uniforms in schools and colleges is correct. Along with this, the High Court has dismissed the petition of the students saying that Hijab is part of the right to religious freedom.
<p style="text-align: justify;"The first petition against this order of the High Court has been filed by Niba Naaz and Manal, two girl students from Udupi, Karnataka. Both have demanded the Supreme Court to set aside the High Court's decision. He said that the High Court's decision violates the fundamental right to religious freedom enjoyed by every citizen under Article 25 of the Constitution. It has been said in the petition that under the Motor Vehicle Act, Sikhs have been exempted from wearing helmets. Similarly, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has given permission to Sikhs to carry kirpan inside an airplane. Muslim girls should also not be stopped from wearing hijab to school and college.
<p style="text-align: justify;"The counsel for the petitioners, Anas Tanveer, has said that he will request the Supreme Court to hear the matter at the earliest. Meanwhile, Hindu Sena Vice President Surjit Yadav has also filed a caveat in the matter. He has demanded from the Supreme Court that he should also be heard in the matter. Any petition filed against the High Court's decision should not be heard unilaterally. The Supreme Court should not unilaterally order a stay of the High Court order without hearing all the parties.
<p style="text-align: justify;"Many petitions are already pending in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. The Supreme Court then refused to hear those petitions saying that the High Court's decision should be allowed first, only after that any hearing can be held in the Supreme Court. Last month, BJP leader and lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay also filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Their demand is that the court directs the Center and the states to implement a common dress code for schools. Ashwini Upadhyay has said today that he will first demand the Supreme Court to hear his petition, so that a uniform system can be made for the entire country.

<a title=""Corona" Vaccination: to year old children will get corona vaccine from know how href="//www.abplive.com/news/india/corona-vaccination-12-to-14-year-old-children-will-get-corona-vaccine-from-tomorrow-know-how-to-register-" target=""_blank"" rel=""noopener" noopener">Corona Vaccination: Children of 12 to 14 years will get corona vaccine from tomorrow, know how to register

'India's missile inadvertently fell on Pakistan during inspection', Rajnath replied in Rajya Sabha
.
[ad_2]
Source link
