Even after a marathon meeting of 13 hours, India and China could not take any concrete decision to resolve the remaining disputed areas of the LAC. But it was agreed in the meeting that such military and diplomatic level meetings should continue to be held in order to maintain peace on the LAC.
On March 11, the Corps Commander level talks of India and China started from 10 am and lasted till 1 pm, that is, about 13 hours. This meeting took place in the Indian border at Chushul-Moldo meeting point in eastern Ladakh. This meeting was done especially for the disengagement at Patrolling Point (PP) No. 15 of the LAC, where each platoon of both the countries is facing each other. Apart from this, the matter of settlement of disputed areas like Depsang Plain and Demchok was also raised by India.
