Indian Air Force and Indigo planes reached Delhi from Poland to Indian students



Indian students evacuated from war-torn Ukraine’s Sumy city to the Polish city of Zejów, Indian Air Force and Indigo planes have reached Delhi on Friday afternoon. Officials associated with this campaign gave this information.

Two planes have returned home this afternoon

Officials said that the Indian Air Force’s C-17 military transport aircraft reached Hindon Air Force Station at 12.15 pm. At the same time, the Indigo plane landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport at 12.20 pm. These planes took a halt in Istanbul.

Air India plane arrived with Indians evacuated from Sumi city

Earlier, a special Air India flight from Jejo city to Indian students evacuated from Sumi city also reached Delhi on Friday morning. Officials said that the special Air India aircraft took off from Zejo at 11.30 pm on Thursday and reached Delhi at 6.45 am on Friday.

Indians are being rescued under Operation Ganga

India is repatriating its citizens stranded in the war-torn country after Russia attacked Ukraine via Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. Significantly, after Russia attacked Ukraine, Operation Ganga was started by the government to rescue the stranded Indians there.
