Trinamool Congress MLA Manoranjan Vyapari has surrounded the people of Bihar by making a statement. He has called the people of Bihar ‘one Bihari hundred disease’. He also said that Bengal should be ‘disease free’. The video of his statement is going viral on social media.
BJP MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Modi has targeted Mamta Banerjee and Rashtriya Janata Dal on this statement of the entertainment businessman. He said that Mamta Banerjee had called the people of Bihar-UP outsiders during the last assembly elections. Now his party’s MLAs are openly appealing to Bengalis to expel the people of Bihar from the state by calling Biharis “one Bihari, hundred disease”.
Sushil Modi further said that the RJD, which supported Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC unconditionally, was silent even then, even today it is not worried about Bihari honor.

After the controversy over the statement, the entertainment businessman has issued a clarification. He said that in the meeting of ‘Bhasha Chetna Samiti’ people talked about sending me to Bangladesh because I speak in Bengali… Should I not say anything? I didn’t say Bihari.
“A Bihari hundred disease.”
“Don’t want disease, make Bengal sick.” – entertainment merchants; Trinamool MLA.
Bihari Babu Shree @ShatruganSinha My question to you is, how will he give clarification on these absurd statements of his new political colleague when he goes to Asansol for election campaign? pic.twitter.com/5hsng6reTe

The video of the entertainment trader was shared by BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. In the viral video, TMC MLA said that if Bengali blood runs in your veins… if the blood of Khudiram and Netaji (Subhash Chandra Bose) flows in your veins and if you love your mother tongue and motherland, then you should be stressed. One has to shout – ‘Ek Bihari, hundred bimari’ (One person from Bihar is equal to 100 diseases).’ We do not want disease. Make Bengal disease free. Jai Bangla, Jai didi Mamta Banerjee.
