Earlier in the day, Yogi also met Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and BJP General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh. Adityanath is likely to stay in the national capital for two days. The BJP has won 255 seats and its two allies won 18 seats in the recently held elections to the 403-member state assembly. Political analysts believe that Adityanath’s stature has increased with this victory, as his leadership was central to the BJP’s re-conquest efforts in the state.
