Indian citizens and students are facing a lot of difficulties due to the ongoing war in Russia and Ukraine. Thousands of Indian students trapped after Russia’s attack on Ukraine are being brought back to their country from neighboring countries with the help of the Indian government’s ‘Operation Ganga’ campaign. The families of Indian students trapped in the midst of the ongoing bombing in Ukraine are also very upset and in such a situation when their children are safely reaching back to their homeland, their parents are seen crying and distributing sweets in joy.
A similar video has surfaced from Delhi Airport. Where her mother cried after seeing her daughter Saloni, who had returned to her homeland from war-torn Ukraine. At the same time, where tears of happiness are pouring out on the daughter’s return, on the other hand sweets are being distributed at the airport. On Saloni’s return, the mother said, “I cannot express in words how happy I am to see my child being taken back home with me.”

Let us tell you that Ukraine’s airspace has been closed since February 24 due to Russian attack. In such a situation, Indian citizens coming out of Ukraine are being brought home through planes from countries like Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. Hungary shares a border with war-torn Ukraine and so far all Indians passing through this country have been brought back to the country. The Embassy of India has set up a control room in Budapest (Hungary) to evacuate Indians stranded in Ukraine.
