Summons to Devendra Fadnavis
The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that he has been sent a notice under CrPC 160 yesterday and has been asked to be present in the cyber cell on Sunday. He said that he is ready to cooperate in this matter. I am happy that the state’s CBI has been asked by the Supreme Court to investigate the matter. In March 2021, I disclosed the police transfer. In which I had shown the report that money was taken for the transfer. I had disclosed about the transfer of money and I had informed the Union Home Ministry about it. The Home Secretary was also informed about this.
Violation of Official Secret Act
Devendra Fadnavis further said that in return, the Maharashtra Police has registered a case under pressure from the government. A case has been registered for violating the Official Secrets Act. In this matter, BKC cyber cell has been called yesterday after giving notice to me. I will be there on Sunday at 11 am and will cooperate in this matter. But in this case, the state government had kept the report suppressed for 6 months. Instead of interrogating those who are accused or under suspicion in this case, notice has been sent to me. I am ready to cooperate in this matter.
