The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has submitted a charge sheet against six alleged Khalistani terrorists under various criminal sections in the Jalalabad city of Punjab before the court. This conspiracy of bomb blast was hatched by the terrorist masters sitting in Pakistan. The chargesheet also includes the name of infamous terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode, who is currently reported in Pakistan.
According to a top official of the National Investigation Agency, this conspiracy of bomb blasts was hatched in Pakistan and its conspirators included Pakistani nationals apart from Khalistani terrorists. According to the official, the terrorists against whom the chargesheet has been presented before the court are Sukhwinder Singh Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Ferozepur, and Ranjit Singh, Praveen Singh, a resident of Fajjalika. The names of self-styled godman Lakhbir Singh Rode and Pakistani national Habib Khan are also included in this.
According to a top NIA official, this bomb blast took place on 15 September 2021 in Jalalabad city of Punjab and one person was killed during this blast. A case was registered in this regard under various criminal sections at Police Station City Jalalabad. Later, the investigation of this case was handed over to the National Investigation Agency where the NIA started its investigation by registering a case in this regard on 1 October 2021.
The NIA came to know during the investigation that the conspiracy of large-scale blasts in Punjab was hatched in Pakistan. This conspiracy was hatched by the alleged self-styled commander of the terrorist organization International Sikh Youth Federation, Lakhbir Singh Rode, along with Pakistani national Habib Khan. Under this conspiracy, it was decided that these people, through their henchmen, would spread terror through tiffin bombs in various cities of Punjab. During the investigation, NIA also came to know that apart from terrorism, Pakistani national Habib Khan also deals in drugs on a large scale.
Under this conspiracy, these people sent tiffin box bombs with 8 IEDs and narcotics from Pakistan to India. These people motivated the other accused in this case to use these bombs at different places in different cities. It is also alleged that these people had set fire to some shops and vehicles in Ferozepur city through one such bomb. On 15 September 2021, the accused in this case, Binder Singh and Sukhwinder Singh, conducted a recce of a crowded market in Jalalabad city.
After this, the purpose of these people was to plant tiffin bombs at that place, but this tiffin bomb exploded before its time, due to which one of them died on the spot. During the investigation, the NIA officers reached the house of the second accused, from where the whole matter was exposed, the investigation of the case is still going on.
