PM Modi congratulates AAP’s victory in Punjab Assembly elections, Kejriwal gave this answer

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday thanked the Prime Minister for receiving congratulations from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the victory of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Punjab Assembly elections. The Prime Minister had congratulated the Aam Aadmi Party on the victory in Punjab by tweeting on Thursday night.

Modi had tweeted that my congratulations to the Aam Aadmi Party for the victory in the Punjab elections. I assure all possible help from the Center for the welfare of Punjab.” Responding to this tweet of the Prime Minister, Kejriwal wrote, “Thank you sir.

AAP has won total 92 seats in Punjab

Significantly, in the Punjab Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party emerged as the largest party. In the state, the Aam Aadmi Party won 92 out of 117 seats in the state assembly in the counting of votes held on Thursday, leaving the Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal-BSP alliance far behind.

AAP candidates defeated many big faces

In this election, big leaders like Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) stalwart Parkash Singh Badal, his son Sukhbir Singh Badal and former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had to face defeat. While AAP has won three-fourth of the seats in the state, Congress has to be satisfied with 18, SAD 3, BJP 2 and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) 1 seat. An independent candidate has also won the election.
