PM Modi spoke to future officers in Labasna, said – choose challenging job, comfort zone will stop progress
Prime minister Narendra Modi Today i.e. on Thursday addressed the future officers of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. He was addressing at the conclusion of the 96th Common Foundation Course (Common Basic Course) of Trainee Officers.
During this, the PM told the future officers Holi Extending my best wishes, said that over the years I have interacted, met and spent a long time with many civil servants. But your batch is very special, because you are starting your work in the 75th year of India’s independence.
The eyes of the whole world are on us
The PM further said that when India will be entering its 100th year of independence, many of us will not be there at that time, but this batch of yours will remain at that time and you will also be there. The PM said that in this nectar of independence, you will play a big role in the development of the country in the next 25 years. The eyes of the whole world are on us in the 21st century where India is today.
A new world order has emerged
The Prime Minister said that in the circumstances created by Corona in the last two years, a new world order is emerging. In this new world order, India has to increase its role and develop itself at a fast pace. The pace at which we have progressed in the last 75 years, now is the time to move forward many times faster because in the coming years you will be handling some district, some department, some big infrastructure project. Will be running under your supervision.
Self-reliant India’s goal
The Prime Minister said that during these works you always have to keep one thing in mind and that is the biggest goal of 21st century India. This goal is of self-reliant India, of modern India. Referring to Sardar Patel to the future officers, the PM said that during the training you have been made aware of the vision of Sardar Patel ji, his thoughts. The importance of service and sense of duty has been an integral part of your training. The number of years you stay in this service should be the measure of your personal and professional success.
