The Prime Minister said, “It was my endeavor to keep assessing the situation every day. I was in direct contact with many of you. I also spoke to many heads of state. Indian community, volunteer groups, Indian companies also got their help and I want to thank you for your selfless service.” Significantly, the war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for the last 20 days. When Russia invaded Ukraine last month, thousands of students and citizens of India were trapped there. The government worked to bring back the students by running a special operation. During this, all the community organizations and volunteers, including the officials of the embassy, had cooperated.
