Prime minister Narendra Modi On Tuesday, with his Netherlands counterpart Mark Root, discussed the circumstances arising out of the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. During this, Prime Minister Modi welcomed the ongoing delegation-level talks between Russia and Ukraine and expressed hope that a solution will be found soon.
According to the PMO, Prime Minister Modi apprised Root about the progress of the campaign being carried out to evacuate Indians from the war-torn country. Along with this, he also informed about the supply of necessary relief materials including medicines from India to the affected people there.
During this, Prime Minister Modi recalled the digital conference held in April last year with Prime Minister Root and also invited Root to visit India.
