The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ is in constant discussion, two different factions have been formed regarding this film. Political ruckus is also going on, but in the midst of this ruckus, Congress CM Bhupesh Baghel in Chhattisgarh also reached to watch the film. He was seen watching Kashmir Files in the theatre. But as soon as he came out, Baghel told the film half-truth. At the same time, a reply was given on behalf of BJP leaders as well. If the side is standing in support of this film, then the opposition is constantly raising questions about the film.
Baghel told an incomplete story, BJP MP replied
CM Bhupesh Baghel said after watching the film that, it has been shown in the film that the government running with the support of BJP did not try to stop Kashmiri Pandits, but asked them to leave. The army was not sent there. Former Prime Minister When Rajiv Gandhi gheraoed the Lok Sabha, the army was sent. The film is an incomplete truth. BJP is preparing for 2024 from this. When Bhupesh Baghel raised questions on the film, the answer was received from the neighboring state itself. BJP MP from Khandwa Dnyaneshwar Patil said those who do not like the film, they should go somewhere else.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala also put the Modi government in the dock regarding the film. Surjewala said that by watching and showing the film, life will not run by cultivating hatred. The government should tell when will the Kashmiri Pandits be rehabilitated? The country will not run by the film but by the works of the government. Apart from the Congress, the statement about the film also came out from the SP side. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav even fired a different question for asking questions about the film. Akhilesh said that Lakhimpur files should also be made. Farmers were trampled by vehicles in Lakhimpur Kheri, so why was a film not made on it?
Maharashtra BJP accuses the state government
On the other hand, politics is hot in Maharashtra also regarding the film. In Maharashtra, the BJP has targeted the Shiv Sena-led government. BJP is calling the film an insult to Hindus for not making the film tax free. BJP MLA Ram Kadam said that, is it true that Maharashtra government will not make Kashmir files tax free? At the time of elections, their leaders pretend to go to temples, now in the film which has told the history of Kashmiri Pandits, will they deny the history. Had late Balasaheb Thackeray been alive, would such a decision have been allowed? If the Maharashtra government does not make the film tax-free, then Hindu society will take to the road and create an orgy.
Overall, the political turmoil regarding this film seems to be intensifying. Political parties are seeing its advantages and disadvantages in their own way. The film has been made tax free in BJP ruled states. At the same time, efforts are being made to put pressure on other states that they should also make the film tax free.
