On March 16, Bhagwant Mann, the future Chief Minister of Punjab, will take oath at Khatkadkalan, the village of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. Preparations are also going on in full swing in front of the Bhagat Singh Memorial built in the village for the swearing-in ceremony. Three big stages have been set up. The main stage has been prepared for the swearing-in, while on one side of the stage on either side of the main stage, there will be newly elected MLAs and on the other side all the party MPs including National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Ministers of Delhi. And the rest of the big leaders will sit.
According to the information, on March 16, Bhagwant Mann will take oath alone, while the rest of the cabinet will be administered the oath later. According to information received from sources, like in Delhi, the party has not invited the Chief Minister of any other state and any big leader for the swearing-in ceremony in Punjab. Only party leaders, workers and general public will remain in the ceremony.
In order to invite the general public to the oath-taking ceremony, Bhagwant Mann today released a video message saying that all the people reached Bhagat Singh’s village Khatkadkalan on 16th. On this day not only Bhagwant Mann but every person of Punjab will become CM and will take oath. Along with this, Bhagwant Mann has appealed to the people that the way Bhagat Singh used to wear a yellow turban, in the same way everyone reached wearing a yellow turban.

For the swearing-in ceremony, a large pandal has been prepared on 40 acres of land, inside which more than 50 thousand people will be seated, while the rest will be able to watch the ceremony from the open ground. The entire 125 acres of land has been specially prepared for the ceremony. It is likely that more than 3 lakh people can attend this function, so preparations are also being done accordingly.
For security also, about 10 thousand security personnel will be deployed, space has also been prepared for helipad, people standing outside the pandal can watch the whole ceremony closely, for this some big LED screens are also being installed.
