Government of India should act now- Rahul Gandhi
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi said that “the Indian government should act now and protect the people”. Retail inflation rose to an eight-month high of 6.07 per cent in February.
During this period, the wholesale price based inflation has increased to 13.11 percent. The rise in crude oil and natural gas prices after the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24 has adversely affected the wholesale price index.
