Sikh employees of aviation sector will be able to keep kirpan inside the airport, BCAS approved



It said, “This exception shall be only for Sikh pilgrims as mentioned above. And, no stakeholder or his employee shall be allowed to personally carry a kirpan at the airport (including Sikh) and for work in any terminal, domestic or international.”

SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami wrote a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on March 9, saying that the March 4 order was an attack on Sikh rights.
