In the bail order, the High Court had said that it is possible that the driver of the vehicle tried to increase the speed to save himself from the protesters. Significantly, eight people, including four farmers, lost their lives in the violence that took place during the farmers’ protest against agricultural laws on October 3 last year in Tikonia Nighasan assembly constituency. Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra was arrested as the main accused in this case. In this case, a charge sheet of 5000 pages was filed by the SIT of Uttar Pradesh.
