The Supreme Court will hear tomorrow the demand for matching more VVPAT slips with EVMs in the counting of votes for the assembly elections in five states. The court has asked the counsel for the Election Commission to be present in the hearing. The court will hear the petition of former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu. The petitioner has said that there should be VVPAT-EVM matching of 5 booths. The Supreme Court said that the day after tomorrow (March 10) is the counting of votes. It has to be seen whether an order can be placed now or not.
