Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi, when questioned in the press conference, said that the matter of return of Indian students studying in Chinese educational institutions has been raised many times. China has been made aware that the continuance of sanctions is putting the academic careers of Indian students at risk.

He further said that till now the Chinese side has not given any clear response regarding the return of Indian students. Bagchi said that we will continue to urge China to take a favorable stance in the interest of our students that the facility of early return of students to China should be provided.
