The death toll from Corona was 60 on the previous day and before that 98 people died due to infection.

The number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the country has come down to 29,181, which is 0.07 percent of the total cases. In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease in the number of patients under treatment by 1,618. The ministry said that there has also been a steady decrease in the rates of weekly and daily infection. The weekly infection rate was recorded at 0.40 percent and the daily rate is also the same.
The death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.20 percent
According to the updated data, so far a total of 4,24,58,543 people have become infection free in the country and the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.20 percent. At the same time, more than 180.97 crore doses of anti-Kovid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

Of the 149 patients who lost their lives due to the pandemic, 130 were from Kerala. So far 5,16,281 people have died due to the epidemic in the country and out of this 1,43,762 patients were from Maharashtra. Of the total cases of death, 67,138 patients were from Kerala. Apart from this, 40,028 patients were from Karnataka, 38,025 from Tamil Nadu, 26,145 from Delhi, 23,492 from Uttar Pradesh and 21,192 from West Bengal.
