Exit Polls Result 2022: Many exit polls have predicted a clear majority for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, while a mixed situation is being reported in Uttarakhand. According to the ABP News C Voter exit poll, the BJP-led NDA is expected to get 228-244 seats and the Samajwadi Party (SP)-led alliance 132-148 seats in the 403-member Uttar Pradesh assembly. At the same time, according to the exit polls of CNN News 18, Republic TV and News X channels, BJP + is expected to get 211-277 seats and SP + 119 to 160 seats in UP.
AAP is expected to get 51-61 seats in Punjab
Most of these exit polls have predicted a victory for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP in Punjab. In the ABP News C Voter exit poll, the Aam Aadmi Party is expected to get 51-61 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly, while the Congress seems to be getting 22-28 seats. At the same time, India Today Exit Poll has predicted a victory for the Aam Aadmi Party in 76-90 seats in the Punjab Assembly. The TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat exit poll, however, has projected 56-61 seats for AAP in Punjab. In most exit polls, the ruling Congress has been predicted to get second place in Punjab.
Hung Assembly likely in Goa
In Uttarakhand, separate exit polls for both Congress and BJP have predicted victory in the assembly elections. Some exit polls have predicted a hung assembly in Goa, while in Manipur the BJP is projected to have an edge over its rivals.
It is worth noting that whose government is going to be formed this time in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur, its results will come on March 10. Voting was completed this time in seven phases in Uttar Pradesh. Voting took place in the first phase on February 10. After this, the second phase was held on February 14, the third phase on February 20, the fourth phase on February 23, the fifth phase on February 27, the sixth phase on March 3 and the seventh phase today i.e. March 7. At the same time, voting took place in a single phase in the rest of the states including Punjab.
