After the decision of the High Court, the Hijab dispute case (Karnataka Hijab Row) has now reached the Supreme Court. In this regard, many petitions were filed in the Supreme Court demanding early hearing, which was rejected by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has said that there is no need for an early hearing in the matter. That is why the matter will be considered for hearing only after Holi holidays.
Let us inform that several weeks later, while giving its verdict regarding the Hijab controversy, it was said that Hijab cannot be worn in educational institutions. After which this decision has now been challenged in the Supreme Court. On the other hand, a demand has also been made to implement a common dress code for students and staff in all the schools of the country. In the petition of BJP leader and lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay, it has been said that common dress will increase the sense of social and national unity among the students.
