In this, he made a big claim and said that, if the CRPF moves out of the homes of Kashmiri Pandits and Kashmiri Pandits return, then they are not in danger. He said that the atmosphere in the Valley is such that Pandits can now return to Kashmir.

DG Kuldeep Singh told that, during the recent elections in five states, a total of 41 VIPs were provided security by the CRPF. After the elections, the security of 27 people has been removed. Giving further information, he said that the financial assistance to the families of the jawans has been increased. Under the financial assistance from the Risk Fund, the amount of soldiers killed in action has been increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh and for all other cases from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
