Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has described the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that I have given the record of extortion by the officials to the PM. Sanjay Raut also said that Mumbai Police will investigate against the ED officials and some officers will also go to jail.
Sanjay Raut said that some ED officials are contesting on BJP ticket. ED has become BJP’s ATM and I have given the record of extortion by these officers to the PM. ED officials are extorting nexus from contractors, developers and builders. He further said that Mumbai Police will start investigation of criminal syndicate and extortion racket with the connivance of ED officials. Believe me, some of these ED officers will also go to jail.

The Shiv Sena MP’s statement came after raids on the houses of close relatives of Aaditya Thackeray, son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Sanjay Raut said whether he does not get any in any other state. We know that there is a conspiracy to topple this government. We have given 50 names to ED and IT and with evidence no action is taken against them. He said that ED and IT do not understand that if an MP makes such a complaint, then he should be taken seriously.
This is not the first time Sanjay Raut has targeted the ED. He had earlier said that the ED and other central agencies are being used to topple democratically elected governments, which is certainly not a healthy sign for any country where democracy prevails.
