The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday said that wearing hijab is not a mandatory part of Islam. The court said that the students cannot refuse to wear the uniform. Now the barrage of political statements has started on this matter.

Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said on this issue that hijab was never a part of religion. It was given unnecessary importance because there were elections in five states. On the other hand, RJD MP Manoj Jha also said the same thing. He said that it was an election issue, which was given importance due to politics.

At the same time, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi also gave a statement on the decision of the Karnataka High Court on Hijab. He said, I welcome the decision of the High Court. I appeal to all the people to take the country and the state forward. We all have to maintain an atmosphere of peace. The fundamental work of the students is to study and acquire knowledge. Everyone should study together.

BJP’s Lok Sabha MP Ashwini Choubey said, Prime Minister has given a message that everyone should work hard and continue to work for the party in the same way. On the hijab controversy, he said, it must happen. What the court did is right. The school has its own rules and regulations. It should be implemented. At the same time, senior Congress leader Malikarjun Kharge said, have not seen the decision yet. I will comment after seeing the verdict.

In conversation with BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Harnath Singh Yadav on the decision of the Karnataka High Court, he said that Muslim women will also be happy with this decision. Only some people were creating a ruckus on this issue and doing politics.

Minister of State for Law, SP Singh Baghel said, the school has its own rules and regulations and it is not right to wear hijab in schools. The school has its own code of conduct and it should be accepted that there are some people who are creating an atmosphere of waste.
